TRANSLUCENT VENEER SYSTEM (TVS)

While the art of lamination and veneering dates back to the pyramid-building Egyptians, the use of translucent veneer systems (TVS) is a new technique unique to Wilkie Sanderson.

Most dramatically visible in the Bigelow Chapel of the United Theological Seminary, TVS is veneer that has been encapsulated in acrylic, resulting in a distinctive aesthetic quality often described as ethereal.
