Wilkie Sanderson strives to be a zero landfill company. We haven’t achieved that goal yet, but we do have a low impact on our environment when it comes to waste. We currently recycle more than 95 percent of all waste byproducts generated by our Sauk Rapids facility.

In the last two years, we have reduced our waste from 120 cubic yards per month to less than 9 cubic yards per month. We grind wood waste for use in another commercial product, and we are moving toward all electronic estimating and drafting, which would reduce our need for paper even further.
